Growing up, Stacey always loved animals, especially dogs and horses. In late 2002, a stray dog showed up near her home — a sweet Border Collie she instantly loved and named Buddy. At just 11 years old, Stacey enrolled in her very first training class with him.
She quickly fell in love with the process. Competitive by nature, she always read ahead in the class handbook and continued advancing with Buddy through the highest levels of AKC, ASCA, and UKC obedience trials across Oklahoma and Texas.
Along the way, Stacey volunteered within the obedience community, met fellow trainers, and learned everything she could. She also spent countless hours shadowing at a veterinary clinic, gaining the hands-on knowledge that shaped her training foundation.
Over time, Stacey’s passion evolved into helping other owners create calmer, better-balanced dogs. What began with one Border Collie soon grew into a training program built on experience, compassion, and clear communication.
At Buddy’s Dog School, we blend behavior and obedience to create balanced dogs and fast, lasting results. You’ll learn simple, effective techniques for both praise and correction so you can see progress as early as day one — without depending on treats.
No matter your dog’s age, breed, or background, our program centers around teamwork. As an owner, you play a key role. We teach you how to maintain results for life, and we continue supporting you even after graduation.
From the moment you stop by, you’ll see why pet parents from Harrah, Choctaw, McLoud, Shawnee, Oklahoma City, and more, trust us with their dogs. From structured training, overnight boarding, and everyday supplies, we keep tails wagging and parents feeling confident!
